out this chart.
29-40 Points:
Uh, oh! You are definitely obsessed! It’s time to step back and
stop making beauty such a high priority. Put it in perspective by memorizing
the Bible verses in this section and stop looking at magazines!
17-28 Points:
Ask yourself, “What are some areas in my life where I am
overly concerned about my looks?” Pinpoint them. Work with them
and embrace them.
8-16 Points:
Way to go, girl! You seem to have a healthy perspective on this beauty
stuff! Just keep it that way.

Grab your Bible and read Romans
12:3-8, Ephesians 4:11-13, and 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 so you can see
the smorgasbord of spiritual gifts. Do the match-up thing as a way of
testing your ability to recognize some of the spiritual gifts in action!

Girl:
- Kim pulled together
a team of students and created a plan for getting more classmates to
attend “See You at the Pole.”
- As Sierra’s
small group was closing in prayer, the Holy Spirit showed her what her
friend could do to get along better with his parents.
- Katie
was pumped about having her soccer coach
over for dinner. Cooking, decorating, and making it special was so fun
to her.
- Her friends were dogging on the new girl at school.
When Jamie heard in her
head, “The way you judge others is the way the Lord will judge
you” and felt the urge to tell them immediately.
- Brittnee
saw a customer spill a steaming hot latte
on her hand. She rushed over, prayed, and the
pain was instantly gone.
- Meg
overheard Lori say she couldn’t afford to go on the youth group
retreat so she used her own money to pay Lori’s way.
- When Crystal’s
grandmother died, Angie just had to go over to Crystal’s to comfort
her.
- Even though her brother thought she was naïve
for
believing God would provide the cash for her mission trip, Christa had
total confidence in God.

Scoring:
Add up your T’s and F’s. Are you satisfied with these results?
Why or why not?
One of the ways you’ll know whether Jesus is truly Lord over your
life, is if you think of asking him first for direction before asking
all your friends or even yourself. If you start to repeat a behavior
that you know is not right with God but then you stop because you don’t
want to grieve your Jesus, then he is definitely the reigning King in
your life. You discover that obedience brings you joy.
